    Hi @lbonesini,

Some of the most common issues with the cURL error 35 are due to changes in server configuration or an expired SSL certificate.

If you’d like us to investigate further, could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look?

If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.

    Thanks!`

Thanks Jay, all the sites hosted on this server are experiencing the same issue. One is https://lucabonesini.it – for example.
    Thanks.

    Hello @lbonesini

Since it is an SSL certificate issue, I gently ask you to contact your hosting support and ask them to reissue your certificates.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Hello, I manage my server myself, I’m my provider 🙂
I’ve reissued the certificates, they’re all good, but I still have the same issue.
    More info:
    a) jetpack stats are retrieved and shown on the website once every three page refresh; the other two times I receive the following error:
http_request_failed: “cURL error 35: OpenSSL SSL_connect: Connection reset by peer in connection to dashboard.wordpress.com:443
    b) if I try curl from the server console, again once every three times, the error is the following:
    * Recv failure: Connection reset by peer
    * Closing connection 0
curl: (56) Recv failure: Connection reset by peer
    c) testing from here https://jptools.wordpress.com/debug/ results in this error:
    Debug
    Unknown error
    An unknown error has occurred.

    Any suggestion is welcome!
    Thank you.
