Jetpack Plugin Disables Slider Plugin

Hello,

I recently installed a new theme and began using a slider plugin. Whenever Jetpack is activated, the sliders do not work on my site. Is there any way to rectify this? I love Jetpack, but I also want jquery capabilities on my site.
