I’m a pastor of a church, and our WordPress website uses the Maranatha theme and the Jetpack plugin. Jetpack gives us great features, like creating a “Contact Us” page using Jetpack’s contact form. However, when I created the page, and when I edit the page, the “Submit” button is visible, but when I access the live page, there is no “Submit” button. You can fill out your name, your email, and your message on the live page, but you can’t submit since there’s no button. I was wondering if anyone had any solutions to this problem?
    Thanks

  • Hello @haroldson8

I checked your website and looks like the theme is causing an error on the contact form.

It would be useful to diagnose this by temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes — preferably Twenty Seventeen. You can do this by installing a plugin that only switches the theme for the current user, linked below:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/theme-switcha/

Or, if you’d rather not use a plugin, you could temporarily set your active theme to Twenty Seventeen. The Twenty Seventeen theme comes preinstalled with your WordPress, and you can find it under Appearance > Themes.

See if the issue remains with the contact form, you’ll need to contact your theme’s developer to see if they can help you troubleshoot.

Just a side-note; before you swap your theme, we recommend that you make a full backup of your site.

Let us know what you find!

    Best,

    Michelle C.
