Hello! My client claims that some of her images have been replaced with stock images. I can’t verify whether or not this is true, but is this something that could be possible due to Photon?

Also, I’ve disabled Photon and there are still links to i2.wp etc throughout the site. All of the images in the above link are included. How can I eliminate these from the Photon cache or change the links (preferably not manually as there are probably hundreds).

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

Hello! My client claims that some of her images have been replaced with stock images.

What do you mean by this? Your client updated some photos on the site?
In any case, Photo caches are forever as you see here https://jetpack.com/support/photon/#limitations

In the case, you (or your client) updated photos, I suggest changing their filenames to something else like photo-updated.jpg, then update your images in posts/pages/etc.

Also, I’ve disabled Photon and there are still links to i2.wp etc throughout the site. All of the images in the above link are included. How can I eliminate these from the Photon cache or change the links (preferably not manually as there are probably hundreds).

Although Photon is disabled, Jetpack still uses Photon images for other features like Related Posts. There is no way to exclude Photon images for these features.

Please let us know in the case you need any further help!
