• WP worked correct. Did a update of Jetpack. After that website down. Internal Server Error.

Manual renamed the folder jetpack to jetpack-old. Website up again.
Removed jetpack and did a clean install of jetpack again.

This error show on top of dashboard:

Warning: require_once(/var/zpanel/hostdata/poudenes/public_html/peteroudenes_com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/featured-content/featured-content.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/zpanel/hostdata/poudenes/public_html/peteroudenes_com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/theme-tools.php on line 54 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/var/zpanel/hostdata/poudenes/public_html/peteroudenes_com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/featured-content/featured-content.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php’) in /var/zpanel/hostdata/poudenes/public_html/peteroudenes_com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/theme-tools.php on line 54

  • I got the exact same error. There are files missing in the new update, specifically in the folder modules. What I did was that i got an older version of jetpack and took all the files missing in the modules folder and transfered them to my server. I did not overwrite any of the new files. I just transfered the files that were missing in the jetpack folder on my server. No I can activate the plugin. There are still some functions not working though.

After updating to WP 3.8 and try reactivate JetPack 2.7 everything was solved…

I updated to WP3.8, deactivated and reactivated Jetpack 2.7, re-established the connection with WordPress and nothing. The Gallery types display on the settings, but on the website, the grid gallery shows.

Could you try to log in to your site via FTP, delete the entire Jetpack plugin folder, and reinstall it manually as explained here:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins#Manual_Plugin_Installation

You’ll want to make sure you completely delete the existing Jetpack plugin first.

Let me know if it helps.
