Issue with WP Multisite

    Hello.. your plugin is really great!!.. But I have a problem.

    I have a WP MU site. I developed with Ultimate Fields in my main site and added the PHP code to functions file, but nothing happen in the other sites of the network.

    I tried with the plugin activated throught the network super-admin and throught the plugin manager of each site individually.

    Also I tried importing using the wordpress import tool (xml). Bad idea. The plugin break the site. This error show up:

    Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to UF_Container_Base::add_fields_array() must be of the type array, null given, called in ../wp-content/plugins/ultimate-fields/settings/setup-containers.php on line 213 and defined in …/plugins/ultimate-fields/classes/UF_Container_Base.php on line 154

    Any idea?

    Hi Rodrigo,

    I’m glad that you like the plugin. You’ve caught me in a weak position though.

    I checked and in both “versions” of the import/export there were issues. First I checked the PHP export and I found that I’m checking the wrong variable. I fixed that.

    Then I tried the WordPress export/import, which had a similar issue. That should be fixed too.

    What I did not manage though, is to raise the fatal error that you are mentioning. Would it be too much if I ask you to send me the XML export?

    As for the fixes above, you can download the development version from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/ultimate-fields.zip . It should allow you to use the PHP way.

    Please tell me if you have any other issues or questions.

    Rado!.. Sorry the delay..

    I tried and now work like a charm!!

    I forgot to tell that XML fatal error happened when I edited a field and save it through Ultimate Field panel.

    Anyway the PHP import/export method is perfect for me, because I will embed the plugin to a theme. 😉
