Thanks for your question and for your patience while I was traveling and away from my development system.
The most common reason for seeing the “Item xxxx, no translations.” message is a failure to check one or more of the Language boxes under the “(Add or Modify Translation)” column in the Bulk Translate area. You can check the “Francais” box or the “All Languages” box, but you must check something.
I did some testing with the current versions of MLA, Polylang and WordPress. I discovered that the current MLA version has some defects handling the case of items that have no language set, i.e., that have “none” in the “Language” column for the “Show all languages” mode. Does that apply to your situation?
I have made some changes to correct the defects and assign the site’s default language to any items that have no language already set.
I have uploaded a new MLA Development Version dated 20190306 that contains a fix for the issue you reported. You can find step-by-step instructions for using the Development Version in this earlier topic:
PHP Warning on media upload with Polylang
It would be great if you can install the Development Version and let me know if it works for you. I will leave this topic unresolved until I hear back from you. Thanks for alerting me to this MLA Polylang support defect.
It has been a month since the last post in this topic. I hope the fixes I provided in the Development Version resolved your problems.
I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have any problems or further questions about bulk translations with MLA and Polylang. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
