Hi there! How are you currently adding galleries to your posts and pages? And what are you trying to accomplish as far as setting default values?
You can automatically enable Jetpack’s Tiled Galleries by navigating to Settings > Media in your Dashboard. Then, look for the Tiled Galleries section and toggle the Display all your gallery pictures in a cool mosaic option and save your changes.

I want to paginate Jetpack Tiled Galleries. I am using “Paginated Gallery” Plugin https://wordpress.org/support/topic/updated-for-wordpress-37?replies=3
This plugin works well but it disables Jetpack Tiled Galleries “Type” options in create new gallery popup.
Add Media -> Create New Gallery -> Gallery Settings -> Type
I want to use Square Tiles with this plugin.
How can i use?
My Plugin settings is :
Thumbnails Per Page : 9
Use standard [gallery] shortcode? : Enabled
