    The AMP update appears to be causing problems, so I wonder if the Site Kit update is safe?

    There should be no issues with updating Site Kit from a previous version. As with any website it’s always good practice to perform regular backups regardless, but if you run into any trouble when updating the plugin we’d be happy to assist.
