A few commenters have not been able to successful comment on my blog, and have been getting the message, “Invalid Security Token”. I checked the Jetpack debug page, as had been instructed in previous threads, and Jetpack did not find any conflicts. (I had iThemes security installed, but have since deactivated it in trying to troubleshoot this problem)

One of the commenters indicated that the error message is received when she wants to submit a long(er) comment, but does not occur when the comment is short.

Any ideas what could be the problem, and how this matter could be resolved?

  • Hi @luminus18,

I just left a comment on this post without error: http://www.ict-pulse.com/2018/05/data-adventures-importance-project-requirements/

Do you see that in your Pending Comments list?

Do you mind if I leave a longer comment on one of your posts to test this further? I don’t know enough to sound educated, so what I add may not make any sense. 🙂

I’ll be on the lookout for your reply!

    Hi @tracy,

Thanks for commenting! It has been published to the site. 😀

However, there does not appear to be a problem with a one-sentence comment.

You will note that previous commenters had to break down their submission into multiple chunks, which the system would accept.

    The problem still exists…
