Hi @toad75 thanks for getting in touch and sharing the information you have so far. I’d be happy to help you with this. Please can you share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Do experience the same when trying from an Incognito window?
    3. Can you try running through the troubleshooting steps here to see if you can complete the setup?

Let me know if you have any questions about the above information.

@toad75 Thanks for sharing the information. While I check your information further, could you confirm the following:

    1. Have you recently performed a site migration or changed your site domain/URL?
    2. Have you tried performing a Site Kit reset? If you have performed a site migration or changed your domain/URL and you did not reset Site Kit before doing so, a reset will not work in this instance.
    3. Have you tried to disable browser extensions to see if you still see the same? You can check these by going to chrome://extensions/.

I will continue to check your information in the meantime and let you know if I find anything.

@toad75 Thanks for sharing the added information. If possible, could I ask you to share a recording of your experience? You can use a service such as Loom to capture and share the video URL here or in the private form you shared above.

Any console errors you see would also be helpful to see. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

@toad75 Unfortunately we are unable to accept these details per the forum guidelines. Are you able to set up a fresh site on the same hosting provider installing just Site Kit to see if you encounter the same issue?

You can also try this URL which will create a temporary website to test on with Site Kit pre-installed. Do you encounter the same issue when setting up Site Kit on this test site?

    (@toad75)

i was able connect sitekit on temp site https://delightfulfuel.s2-tastewp.com/

i switched to MonsterInsights – works without issues

@toad75 This indicates that there is either a conflict with another plugin or an issue at host level. You can try manually disabling other plugins on your site one by one to see if the error in Site Kit remains.

You could also check your host security settings to see if anything here may be causing this to happen.

Let me know if you have any success with the above and if not we can continue to troubleshoot this.
