    As API code is private:

Please use this link to send me more info and screenshot of the error and a screenshot of your API code:

No. That’s a step too far.

Upload your screenshot to an image service and paste the link to that image here in a reply.

    Try this one.

Same error message. The api key was generated on the etsy developer website, but the plugin shows the “invalid api key” warning. How was this resolved or how can I get it to work without sending a screenshot of my API code?

I’m also having the same error – please advise. I have sent a response via the link provided in the other posts.

Seems to be a bug in Etsy Portal.

Are you able to go on your Developer Page on https://www.etsy.com/developers and see if your API Key appear in the page “Manage your apps”.

At this time, I am not able to activate new API Keys, new ones are not in my apps page.

    A bug report was done.

Hola. Any updates on this? I’m getting the same error. I have generated the API key and it does show up on the ‘Manage your Apps’ page on Esty.

    Thanks,
    Beth

    Hi @campbellduke,

I did open a new ticket with Etsy.com to have more details.

A new version will be released soon, but for now, API Keys on the new platform cause problem.

    I will keep you updated.

    Thank you @fsheedy.

We’ve also had issues on Etsy getting linked to Canada Post so my husband closed his shop. I hope Etsy gets itself sorted out as there are so many people depending on them.

    Hi any updates on this?

@wpmade Please upgrade the plugin to version 3.0.2.

This version is compatible with the new Etsy Open API v3.

Thank you for the quick response.

The problem is not the plugin (I realized) but the fact that Etsy not approving the API key requests (so I was trying to use a PENDING API key). API key requests are Pending then they are just rejected by Etsy (even though this is just for the plugin).

Do you have any suggestions regarding “a how-to” when applying for the Etsy API key?

    Thanks for your time.

@wpmade You have to complete all the form fields on the Etsy website when you applied.

If you still have problem to obtain an API Key, you should contact Etsy.

Thanks. I have completed all the form fields (applied twice). They just keep rejecting it. I contacted them and waiting for a response.

    Thank you for your time.
