    Hi! I need to know what ports/IP/URL do I need to enable to and/or from the internet for the WP Security plugin to work?

    Hi! It doesn’t give me any errors, but when I want to configure the plugin, I don’t finish updating it. I understand that this could be because it needs internet access. Could be?If so, what port or IP is needed?

    Hi @csarsfield, thanks for getting back!

    Unfortunately, I’m still uncertain about the issue. Please let me know what happens when you try to configure the plugin. What did you mean by you can’t finish updating it? Generally, ISPs usually don’t block WordPress plugins. Does it help if you use a different connection? Is it perhaps a restriction with your site’s server?

    Our server is on an internal network behind a Firewall and the ports are blocked. It’s already enabled on wordpress.org, but regarding Solid Security Basic, do I need to Whitelist some IP for this to work? Because I can’t exit the setup.

    Hi @csarsfield, thanks for that information.

    Our developer wants to know if you see any script errors in your browser console when you try to exit the plugin’s setup. You might need to turn on SCRIPT_DEBUG if you haven’t yet; please follow the instructions in this article on enabling it.
