I created a separate version of the 12 Step Meeting List WordPress Plugin with some changes that I’d like to test meant solely for Area 48. How do I take the source code and install it onto a WordPress site? Here’s the link for my fork: https://github.com/hmbrecords/12-step-meeting-list. Please let me know, thanks!

Also, do you know how to setup a windows 10 machine to run WordPress and it’s Plugins locally? I’m having some issues trying to set this up.

    Hey–

Usually it is done via FTP, and if memory serves, the file needs to be a gzipped tar (.tgz). You probably should disable and delete the already installed 12-Step-Meeting-List plugin first.

Generally, if you Google uploading local plugins, I think you’ll find directions. If you’re still stuck on this, I’ll spin up my test machine and make sure I have the steps right.

I don’t do Windows so I can’t help you there 🙂 Again, I think you’ll be able to find general steps through Google.
