    Hi,

How do I insert a link in the “transfer to operator message”?

What I am trying to do is when the chatbot does not understand a customer’s question I want to direct the customer to the contact us page by providing them a link to the contact us page in the “transfer to operator message”

current default “transfer to operator message” is: Our staff will contact you within the next couple of minutes, in the meantime, tell us how can we help you.

    thanks in advance

    Hi!

    Thank you for writing in.
By default all “Decision” nodes have the transfer to operator message enabled.
Please edit your chatbot, find any “Decision” node and click on it.

On the right side you’ll see the “Transfer to operator” message that you’ll be able to adjust.

    Stay safe!

    Hello Kamil,

Perhaps I did not do a good job of exampling what I am trying to achieve.

When I edit that “transfer to operator” message and insert the following:

    Please <a href="http://google.com">click here</a> to contact us!

I want the message to show as “Please click here to contact us!” but it does not show this way. It shows like this

    Please "<a href="http://google.com">click here</a> to contact us!

    Thanks

    Hello there Matt,

Apologies for the long wait! Unfortunately, the messages in our Chatbots do not support HTML input as of now, so there will be no way to insert it in the “Transfer to Operator” message.

You can, on the other hand, insert a link into the Chatbot button which might come in handy when thinking about a workaround. Here’s a link that explains how to do that.

If you have any additional questions don’t hesitate to reach out to our live chat support at http://www.tidio.com!
