• I am hoping for some suggestions. I am very familiar with the WP Customer Reviews program and have ben using it for years. For some reason I have a site where the input fields for the Name, Email & Title will not display. Here is what I have tried:

Deactivated all other plugins and cleared the cache
Removed the plugin and reinstalled it
Removed the plugin and installed an older version
Used a plugin to clean and optimized the database
Went into cPanel and optimized the database manually

Using Google inspector and comparing it with other sites I can see that the fields are not even present in the Google Inspector.

I don’t believe there is anything wrong with the plugin, I just need and idea of where else to look.

Thank you for creating this plugin. I have tried a few others over the years and this for me is by far the beast.

Am I the only one having this issue? The problem has now appeared on many of my sites and I have not been aware of it until someone tries to leave a review. I have tried everything to narrow down the problem. But it appears that something is changing in the database.

I have create a new, clean site using the stock WordPress theme just for testing. I Installed WP Customer Review and from the start all fields are show (Name, Email, Website, Review Title and Review) and no boxes are checked (the way they used to be) in the “Review Form Settings”. Then when a box is checked to determine what you want displayed and saved then the only input option that will display is the Review Title & Review box. After that there is no way to bring the other input boxes back other than going into the cPanel database and altering the database field.

I have found this to be true on multiple sites, with various themes and on multiple servers.

I’ll take a look. I haven’t heard of any other similar bug reports, but I’ll try to reproduce what you’re seeing on some of my test sites.
