    Howdy,

Most commonly, that happens when your site takes longer than 10 seconds to respond with the image when requested from Photon’s servers.

I was able to get this image to pull up, http://i1.wp.com/www.la-thailande-et-l-asie.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/83-sam-phan-bok-ubon-ratchathani-mekong-thailande-laos.jpg?resize=374%2C248 , but in trying others, the server didn’t respond in time.

For the galleries, you’ll need the Tiled Galleries module enabled. With that enabled, within your post, you’ll click Add Media and choose the images, then click Create Gallery. On the next screen, on the right, you should have the option to select the type of gallery.

    Cheers!

Well the point is i’m not using the photon module… it is activated because I’m using the tiled gallery module (which says it need to use photon even if it’s not activated !)

So even by having the tiled gallery module activated I don’t have the option to select the type of gallery (but do have the “create gallery” one)

Right, because Tiled Galleries will dynamically resize your images to fit and WordPress doesn’t include that function, images are offloaded to use Photon’s resizing ability.

After you click Create Gallery, choose your images, and click Create Gallery, the next screen should give you the option to select the type of Gallery.

Here are two screenshots showing the process:

    Does that help?
