Image Files and duplicate entries

    Hello,
    somehow google search console pickups my images from wp-content (as it should be) but also it pickups in this format post-name/image-name-from-that-post .
    So i have both images visible in search console. When i click on post-name/image-name it goes to wp-content/uploads/image-name .
    I just want to get rid of post-name/image-name
