Hi jjnetwork,
Yes, you can do it by modifying your languages localization files. One plugin can help you with this task is Loco Translate. It works like a charm.
Regards,
Alberto.
Hi Alberto,
Can this be done without installing any other plugins? I tried Loco Translate but I don’t think it is meeting my requirement.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Just add your language when translating with LOCO, that’s all.
Alberto.
Hi Alberto,
I’m not trying to translate anything here. I want to change the default notification msgs to something else. I tried changing the msgs on clean-login.php but didnn’t work. Please help..
Thanks
@jjnetwork,
Use the Say What? plugin, and type cleanlogin for the text domain for each change you want to make. The plugin is very easy to use.
@jjnetwork
See my solution for changing the default notification messages here:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/po-file-english?replies=4
You create .po files for your English site and make changes to the notifications on there.
Hope it helps.
Hi jjnetwork,
The solution provided by @fdkfashiondesign works like a charm. Thanks again.
And @kts915 is also right, IMHO this solution is less elegant but easier. Great plugin BTW. Thanks.
Thanks everybody for participate and solve this thread! as the plugin author, this is the best feedback I could receive.
Cheers,
Alberto.
