How Many Subscribers I have

    Hi,

    I just recently customized my website so that people can subscribe to my blog via email and I noticed that it says I have 412 subscribers. I had no idea I had that many subscribers because when I check how many followers I have it says 9 and when I check how many people are subscribed to me using email it says 3. So I am just wondering if the number that is showing on my website is correct and if it is, how can I see that myself using the dashboard?

    Hi there:

    Thanks for getting in touch. That number changed because we updated how your subscribers are displayed in the subscription widget to mirror how it works on WordPress.com.

    Previously for Jetpack users, the subscription number only included your WordPress.com followers and email subscribers, which is in reality only a subset of people who follow you between the various social media platforms. Now, by including your Publicize connections, we can inform your viewers a more accurate total reach value compared to before.

    Mine only shows the subscribers I have on my facebook page but doesn’t take into account email subscribers or my other channels like instagram or twitter.
