Support » Plugin: Lite Cache » How do you define a bbPress post's age?

  • I’m wondering how I’m affecting caching for bbPress when I’m altering the “Cache only posts newer than”-setting. Are you looking at the post date of the Original Post, or the latest reply in the thread?

Hopefully it’s the latest reply, but I tested with an old thread that had a recent reply, and the cache just didn’t seem to kick in.

Hi, the “age” is the time a page has been inside the cache. The problem with bbpress is that I need to change the caching so when a reply is added the thread page/pages has to be invalidated.

May be this is not working, it depends on bbpress if it trigger a “thread modification” when a new reply is added.

If not, a specific check should be done.

    Stefano.
