    My hosting provider does some back up for me as a paid service. Will I get a chance to do this on my own using this plugin?

    Hi,
    Sorry for the delay in replying.

    Yes you can make backups on your own.

    BlogVault is completely independent of your web host.
    Backups are done automatically once a day.
    They are also stored off-site, independently.
    This way you can access and use your backups even if something goes wrong with your site or web hosting account.
