I have noticed Monster Insights has added gtag to my website code. Is this normal please? I do not have access to a Google Tag Manager Account so I would appreciate some reassurance.

Hey there, thanks for the question.

We recently made an update to switch our default tracker from analytics.js to gtag.js. This switch is meant to be seamless and doesn’t require further action on your part. You will continue to track visitor activity as normal on your website 🙂
