I have just installed Gridsby and all seems to be fine or can be figured out but my blog does not show on the home page. I have not clicked the box “hide blog section” of course but did everything like in this video around the 2.55 mark

but still my blogposts can only be seen if going to the menue and than the category i am linking them too.

can anybody help ? website is http://www.berlinfoodblog.com

Julia,

If you are creating blog posts, please make sure the “Default” post format is selected rather than the “Image” post format.

I am also having problems with gridsby home page. It displays the same images no matter what I do and I can’t quite figure out why it’s choosing those.

Is it possible to randomise this?

Hello,

Unfortunately, the homepage template will only display your posts in order from Newest or Oldest. You could limit the number of posts on your homepage and then order them with the following plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-post-order/

I believe that would help you accomplish your goal.
