I love almost everything about this plugin, with no real caveats!

My only “complaint” about the free version, is that there’s no clear way to assign multiple media items to a folder. Once multiple items are selected, you can drag-and-drop them as a group into the desired folder, so it is possible.

FileBird is pretty amazing, and for a free plugin, does almost everything I need on every site that I manage.

Edit: It’s unfair to rate such an amazing plugin (and team) with only 4 stars, so I’ve changed my rating from 4 to 5.

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. Can you explain more about this

Sure! 🙂 By way of example: when I select multiple posts, I can use the ‘Bulk Actions’ drop-down to choose ‘Edit’. This allows me to change the categories of multiple posts at once. Pages have a similar bulk edit option.

Individual media items show a ‘Folder’ box when editing, but there is no ‘Bulk Action’ to assign folders. This is not a problem because I can ‘Bulk Select’ media items then drag-and-drop them into the desired folder.
