HOW IT WORKS

Are you a WordPress website administrator?

Developing a site means that you’ll be adding tons of new media files such as images, videos, audios, PDF, txt, docx, .ect into your site database day by day.

As a result, your site will have to store thousands of files. In the default WordPress media database, you are not able to arrange files in a logical manner and you wish you could do that like what you do with your files in your own computer, right? When you want to look for a particular uploaded file on your WordPress site, don’t you know how to find it?

FileBird was born to help you overcome the obstacle. This plugin gives you the ability to easily organize your files in media library of your site. With this tool in hand, you can manage and arrange thousands of images, audios, videos, and other files in your media library.

Managing files in WordPress has never been easier. You are able to just drag and drop to upload or move files/ folders. This will help you save a ton of time that goes into putting your media files in place. The hierarchical view of your folders will also make things easier for you to quickly find specific folders in just a blink of an eye.

Nice plugin

Way better than the original wordpress media library. Got some problems with dissappearing files, couldn't reproduce, I should have made a mistake somewhere.

Beautiful Plugin!

One of the best Plugins i have ever used!!! It perfectly blends into WordPress Backend UI and it works like a charm!! Supportteam helps me in no time with a little Problem i had (Plugin conflict with another Plugin) even though i have just the free version of the Plugin.

access folders from Add Media and Create Gallery

I purchased this after realizing the free Lite version limits you to 9 folders, which I encountered within 30 minutes of use. So I popped for the $27. Now I'm super frustrated because I can't access the folders I've created from the Add Media button on posts or pages. So, yes you can make folders that you can use to view your media ONLY from the media library itself. The plugin did not work at all when it comes to adding media to a page or post. I was still left scrolling through all of my media to select items for a gallery. EDIT: I just spent days working with NinjaTeam about this issue. First, they produced an upgrade (version 2.7). Then they taught me how to clear cache in a very specific way via the inspect screen in my browser and now the folders show up in the "Add Media" screen and the "Create Gallery." Diligent support! I use a wide variety of Content Management Systems, both open source and proprietary, and it totally surprised me that organizing a media library with folders/directories is not standard in WordPress. But there you have it -- as with most things WordPress -- you need this add-on.
