Great, but bloated

    Jetpack is fantastic, but it is quite bloated. A lot of the plugins are enabled by default, and they shouldn’t be.

    The TTL of Photon is a problem. Chaching indefinitely is not a good solution for many setups. In my specific situation I had to disable Photon on many sites due to watermarks being added by plugins after upload (making it easier for clients).

    If you’d like some of the modules not to be enabled by default on your client sites, I’d recommend trying one of the methods explained here:

    We’re currently working on improving a lot of the backend of the Photon CDN to stabilize it, so we might be able to add an option to flush cache in the future.
