Google site kit, Analytics account token is missing | WordPress.org

Hi having a sligh problem with google site kit. i installed the plugin and it, google adsense, and google search all added without a hitch. come to do the Analytics part and every time i do i get a Error: Account token is missing error. i have tried making the Analytics account first, and not. iv tried resetting and reinstalling google site kit. I have seen over various threads that this is a common problem. The site is running wordpress 5.5, php 7.4 is hosted on ifastnet and the latest version of google site kit. This is the first time iv used site kit for google so am aware i could of made a noob mistake. any and all advice will be helpfull

@hiltnlad thanks for reaching out about this.

It seems this is a reoccurring issue since we’ve worked to address this before. We’ll be looking into this further on our side, but in the meantime, could you:

1) Provide your Site Health Information here or through this form

2) Attempt connecting the Analytics from an incognito browser window and let us know if you are able to proceed without the error
