    Hello

We are exploring the use of the WooCommerce Product Feed Manager plugin for the purpose of setting up a feed for Google Shopping Campaigns and Google Remarketing for Woocommerce. Have installed the Free version but plan on going pro if it meets our requirements

    A few questions please:

    1. Our business is to sell online courses. The user visits our website makes a purchase for a online course and immediately gets access to the course on our learning portal. Our products includes courses.

Question: Can we create a Feed these products as there is no GTIN, MPN, Brand name. I understand we can add Brand name as ClinSkill to all products, but what about the other 2?

Question: Does Google accept selling of online courses via Google Shopping Campaigns?

    2. If the above is not allowed by Google/ not possible to generate a feed without GTIN & MPN, we plan to at least be able to do Google Dynamic Remarketing for our WooCommerce products.

We sell that the Google Remarketing (DRM) feed is in the Pro version so there is no option to try it and hence this question:

Question 1 : Where will the Google Dynamic Remarketing Feed get uploaded? In this case again would I need the GTIN and MPN?

Question 2: Does the plugin add the Google Dynamic Remarketing Pixel to all the WooCommerce pages?

Look forward to your feedback please so we may proceed with our purchase if at least one or both of these options work.

    Thank you

    For your 1st question:

    1. Our business is to sell online courses. The user visits our website makes a purchase for a online course and immediately gets access to the course on our learning portal. Our products includes courses.

    Question:
Can we create a Feed these products as there is no GTIN, MPN, Brand name. I understand we can add Brand name as ClinSkill to all products, but what about the other 2?
    Answer:
You can simply not include GTIN and MPN and rather use the attribute ‘identifier_exists’ and assign its value as ‘No’. For the brand name, it’s best to use your Store name.

    Question:
Does Google accept selling of online courses via Google Shopping Campaigns?
    Answer:
And yes, Google sees online courses as products if you assign the correct attributes and follow the correct format.

And for dynamic remarketing, here’s Googles guide for Dynamic Remarketing.

You need to upload a separate product feed for Dynamic Remarketing. It requires different attributes.

See this video and it will be much clear:

    Hello

    More questions please:

I understand you mean I can delete the attributes for GTIN and MPN from the feed, using the delete button next to it. Then add a new attribute Identifier_Exists and set it to false, correct?

Okay, what about the Google Merchant Category? Which one to choose as there is no taxonomy related to courses/training/learning? And this is a mandatory field.

I understand how Dynamic remarking works and want to know which feed needs to be created for it. Should I use the Merchant name ‘Google AD’ or do I have to purchase the Pro version and use the name Merchant Google DRM? What is the difference between the two?

I understand that once I have added Google Merchant settings, these Feeds will sync automatically. The Google feed syncs to the Merchant centre. Where does the Google AD feed sync to? Where does the Google DRM feed sync to?

I look forward to your responses please.

    Thank you

Hi, yes, you are correct about identifier_exists attribute.

For Google Categories, you have to use the category mapping feature in case you have multiple categories. Or you can simply change the attribute type to static and assign a single category for all the produts.

Yes, there is no taxonomy related to courses/training/learning. In that case, you have to choose a category that best matches the niche of the courses you provide.
Here’s the complete Google taxonomy list.

You can simply use the taxonomy ID of the one you decide to use.

And, Google Shopping Ads, Google Adwords, and Google DRM are 3 different Google services.

Our free version allows you to generate feed for Google Shopping Ads (Merchant type: Google) and Google Adwords (Merchant type: Google Ads).
Google DRM (Merchant type: Drm) is supported on our pro version.

The Auto-sync feature is only for Google Shopping Ads once you set it up, i.e., if you generate feed with merchant type “Google” only then you can set up the auto-sync.

For Google Adwords and Google DRM, you have to manually upload the product feed to their respective campaign dashboards.

    Thanks.
