Since updating Google Analytics Dashboard for WP to its latest version, the tracking code has stopped functioning.
Visits to my site are no longer recorded by Google Analytics:

I have taken the following steps
    1) Checked the Google analytics plugin setup, and in particular that the tracking ID is correct.
    2) Installed Google tag assistant to track the error on my website pages. Google tag found the following error: “Missing HTTP Response”

Missing HTTP Response denotes that, while the Google Analytics code was detected in the page source, the script itself did not execute. Each time the Google Analytics script executes, we expect an HTTP Response carrying the tracking request to Google’s servers.
This means that the Google Analytics code is not implemented properly on the page and no data will be collected.

    3) As advised by the Google Analytics support, I uninstalled and reinstalled Google Analytics Dashboard, not no avail. Still no data is tracked.

Is there anyone out there who would have an idea as to how I could solve this problem?
It is critical for me to know which pages in my sites are visited

    Thanks a million

  • Hi,

If the website is the one listed on your profile you should follow these steps and solve those tracking code duplicates. Currently, the tracking code is inserted twice in your pages. The other plugin inserting the tracking code is All in One SEO Pack.

Dear Alin Marcu, thank you so much for taking the time to respond!
I deleted this plugin, which I was not really using anyway, and it solved my problem instantly!
    I have a great day!
