The POS setup is really useful for handling in-person sales without having to manage a separate system. I like that products can be searched or added with a barcode scanner, while the sale is saved as a normal WooCommerce order. Receipt printing and customer management are also handy for a physical store. Having the POS, stock and online WooCommerce orders working together makes managing counter sales much simpler.
