    Hello,

Thanks for the plugin πŸ™‚ I tried to hook woocommerce up to facebook but keep getting this message when I try to download:

“This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.”

Is there a way to fix this?

    Thanks

  • Hi michiko3343,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Just to ask the obvious, I am going to assume you selected the Facebook channel upon configuration of your feed (this takes care of loading the correct Facebook template/XML)?

    Best,

    Hi Eva,

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes I believe I chose the right one – I chose the one that said “Channel: Facebook Dynamic Ads / Instagram Remarketing”

    Hi michiko3343,

That is the correct one indeed. Make sure not to put a ‘ ‘ (space) before the http(s) part of the feed URL when you copy/paste the URL into Facebook’s business manager.

Also, would you be so kind as to get the plugin debug.log for us?

Instructions on how to retrieve it can be found here:
    https://adtribes.io/send-your-debug-log-to-support/

It will help us understand how you have configured your feed.

    Thanks!

    Hi Eva,

Here is the Debug url… https://1treecards.com/wp-content/uploads/woo-product-feed-pro/logs/debug.log

Sorry, could you please let me know where to copy/paste the url? The only option I can find in facebook is to upload the xml file.

    Thanks πŸ™‚

    Hi,

Thanks for sending over the debug.log. I had a quick look at the Facebook feed you created and it seems fine to me.

You need to set a schedule location where Facebook needs to retrieve your feed from in their Business manager > Catalogs settings:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/niibhraa7wdqe4o/FB-catalog.png?dl=0

Make sure there is no space before the https part (see arrow in screenshot above) as that might result into the error message you are getting.

    Best,
    Eva
