What is the error? What does it say? Are you viewing the map from your desktop computer or a mobile device?
Geolocation marker makes sense only on mobile devices. When geo marker is enabled and you click on the map’s marker (your clinic) to get directions youc an see the distance. For example (from my in SF, CA):
I-10 E 2,849 mi – about 1 day 16 hours
I-40 E 2,774 mi – about 1 day 16 hours
I-40 E 2,841 mi – about 1 day 17 hours
I’m sorry, I assumed you’d go to the link and see for yourself.
It says…
There was an error creating Geolocation marker: Position acquisition timed out
Proceeding with normal map generation..
This message keeps repeating while the map is trying to load.
On a laptop.
Thanks.
I did not get that error. Regardless of that, next plugin version will include a check if user loads your page from a mobile device. If yes, geo location marker will be added. Otherwise (desktop, laptop) you wont see the geo marker.
I guess for testing, you will have to use your smart phone if you have one. Not your laptop’s browser
Also, keep in mind: this feature will function in browsers supporting the W3C Geolocation API (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/W3C_Geolocation_API)
