    Hi,
    I installed this plugin for analytics

    in analytics admin i see that the access of users is monitored, but i can’t set custom event

    i try to add this code

    ga(‘send’, ‘event’, ‘intro’, ‘box’);

    on my js file and seems is not working

    i try to add
    ga(‘create’, ‘UA-xxxxx-y’, ‘auto’);
    and in this way it works, but i don’t want set id in two part different, is possibile use ga send event without command create?

    Thanks for getting in touch. When you use Site Kit to place the Analytics snippet on your site it inserts a basic tracking snippet. We don’t support manual modifications to this snippet. If you’re inserting your own snippet the product experts at the Analytics Support Center should be able to assist.

    Bear in mind you can also use Google Tag Manager for custom event tracking, see this guide for more information. If configured you can then connect the Google Tag Manager module within Site Kit, meaning you don’t have to manually insert the containers into your site.
