French source strings in the translation project

    Hello,
    while translating Sanctus – Saint du jour into Hungarian on translate.wordpress.org, I noticed that several original source strings are in French instead of English.
    For example:
    Réglages Sanctus
    Thème
    Automatique
    Clair
    Sombre
    Largeur maximale
    There are also longer French source strings, while other strings in the same translation project are already in English, so the source language appears to be mixed.
    Since WordPress translators normally translate from English source strings, could these French strings be changed to English in the plugin source code?
