Hi,
The formatting has nothing to do with the plugin. You have to adjust formatting and scaling in thunderbird.
Regarding the second question i guess you are using an external plugin for that. I think this is a PRO feature.
Oh alright so i can put up a margin-like setting to make sure the text wont overflow? Thanks!
Regarding question two, you said it might be a pro feature. https://imgur.com/a/oo3tvtg this is the standard woocommerce email template. Do you think that this is where the information from my second question is displayed? And are you pretty sure the pro version has that feature? If it does i will for sure buy it. Would be a bummer to buy the pro version to then find out that the plugin cant fetch the information.
I just realised it might be a “bit” hard to read what it says on that picture, heres a closer picture. Its by the bottom of the standard woocommerce email template: https://imgur.com/8vXt6cR
OK, you can try the meta shortcode {woocommerce_email_order_meta}
You can also download non-pro / pro user manual from the link below:
Woo Instant Notifications Manual
The {woocommerce_email_order_meta} shows nothing when i try it :/
The plugin i use for my store is Food Store, any idea if your pro version supports the date and time i get from that?
Does the “{order_time}” retrieve the time the customer wanted the order to? Since “{order_date} retrieves the date and time the customer placed the order on.
Yes , That plugin is supported and there are shortcodes for it
See -> Woo Instant Notifications Manual page 11
Super, thanks for adding it to the manual! 🙂
I’ll buy the plugin right away to test it!
Yep, it works now! Great service Georgi, thank you so much for the help!
Last question and i will stop bugging you.
You said you could format it in thunderbird, do you have any suggestion on where i can do that?
I kind of need the information in the instant notification plugin to not extend beyond the ************ characters you’ve set in the plugin. I’ve tried doing it in the text formater inside your plugin with css, but it doesnt really seem to affect the notification we get on mail too much. I downloaded thunderbird to try to find a setting for it, but i’ve had no luck yet. Any tips will be appreciated!
