Seems that you are referring to a different plugin since we don’t have a “complete survey” before downloading and in the product description is clearly stated that the form builder isn’t part of the free version. The free version includes a classic booking form + the booking calendar as mentioned in the description.
If you find anything into the plugin description in this directory (referred to the free version) that doesn’t match features of the free product we will fix that immediately. If that isn’t the case then I feel that the 1 star review is just about the existence of a pro version with more features instead about the features already present in the free version.

No, I’m comparing your free version plugin with a ‘complete a survey before downloading’ system. I’m telling you that Why you are showing a ‘read only’ form builder? If we can’t use it then remove it from free version. Its looking really bad.
Also, I’m not telling you to add form builder feature to free version, it depends on you.

The base form builder scripts are used to render the basic form in the free version, also the validations area implemented as part of the form builder scripts that’s why part of those scripts are required and included there. An additional layer can be added to hide the field editor section from the admin area, but that’s also a way to indicate which features can be expected in the pro version in the case that someone is interested on it.
