Follow button not showing when 'search'

    Hi Martin, something strange is happening. When I put screen_name=’cnn’ in the shortcode and show_follow=’1′, the Twitter follow button is showing.

    But if I put search=’from:cnn’ instead of screen_name=’cnn’, the Twitter follow button doesn’t show anymore.

    Am I doing something wrong or is it something that actually doesn’t work?

    It’s because it doesn’t know which account to follow. It needs the screen_name setting to work this out.

    I’ll see if I can come up with a fix for it.

    Of course, sounds logical.

    But it could be useful if you search your own Twitter account and exclude a specific tag from it. And still allow someone to follow you, despite the search.
