Folder fw_files_for_blog_1

I saw a folder “fw_files_for_blog_1” in my “uploads” folder which had a blankd “index.php” as well as several files with timestamps for today with names similar to “secfw_data_95d20b4d4e6831560a0baf43275608c2.1.csv.gz”.

I suspected it might be some type of hack file so I did some research and discovered these were legitimate files for “Security by Cleantalk”. I searched the database for “fw_files_for_blog_1” and found it in the options table as ‘cleantalk_fw_stats’. which points to “”/home/drytopco/public_html/wp-content/uploads/cleantalk_fw_files_for_blog_1/””

It’s weird as it the ‘cleantalk_’ is not in the file folder name in File Manager.

Whoever thought using a ‘fw_files_for_blog_1’ folder description should have thought a bit more and come up with something like ‘cleantalk_temp_folder’ which wouldn’t have scared the crap out of me.
