Flickr No Items Found

    I’m trying to set up Photonic for the first time and I keep getting a “No Items Found” message when trying to add Flickr photos. I’ve set my API key. It doesn’t seem to matter what sort of Flickr gallery I try to create: single image, tags, photoset, I get the same result.

    Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

    Can you post an example of the shortcode you are using?

    Here’s an example of the shortcode being generated.

    [gallery type='flickr' user_id='vfhwebdev' view='photo' photo_id='16318348089' tag_mode='any' sort='date-posted-desc' ]

    I don’t believe that is the right user_id. I think it should be ‘16092491@N00’

    Thanks! I tried looking that up using the Photonic ‘helper’ but it couldn’t find me. Where did you find that?

    We’re getting there.

    I still get “No Items Found” in the WP editor, but now at least the thumbnails show up on the post.

    However, I only see linked thumbnails. There’s no slideshow visible.

    I directly queried the Flickr API from their website and got this information. It looks like Flickr changed something on their API which causes the helper to not work. I will fix it in the next release.

    You shouldn’t see a slideshow when you use the plugin for non-WordPress images. The way the plugin is written, if you click on a thumbnail it will open a lightbox, and you can set that up to run as a slideshow. You cannot get an “in page” slideshow with Flickr.

    The helper issue should be fixed now, with release 1.47.
