Hi,

A few days ago I did updates for all the plugins and theme on this website and the fileaway got all messed up: http://dongan.staging.wpengine.com/library/drawing/

Could you please help me figure out what got messed up there? I’m using the Salient 7.6 theme.

Yeah, the theme authors are careless. The offending CSS selector is: [class*="fa-"]

It’s found in these two theme files:

http://dongan.staging.wpengine.com/wp-content/themes/salient/style.css?ver=4.7
http://dongan.staging.wpengine.com/wp-content/themes/salient/css/font-awesome.min.css?ver=4.6.3

Replace every instance of [class*="fa-"] with [class^="fa-"]

[class*="fa-"] finds any element with a class that CONTAINS the string fa-. That’s catching my ssfa- prefixed selectors. If you change it to [class^="fa-"], it will only find any element that STARTS WITH fa-.

If your browser has cached those css files, you’ll need to open up the css files directly in your browser and hard refresh, since you don’t have control over version numbers for your theme.

Then ask your theme authors to include that change in their next update.
