    Hi All

    I have the classic “processing” issue where the xml feed does not update/process at all. I have followed the recommended troubleshooting steps. WP-Cron is enabled and no errors are shown. The cronjob is executed once every hour.

    Steps taken so far:

    1. Deactivated and reactivated plugin
    2. Removed and added new feeds
    3. Uninstalled and reinstalled plugin + added new feeds

    Env:
    WooCommerce v. 3.7.0
    Wordpress v. 5.2.2
    PHP v. 7.1.30
    Pugin v. 6.3.0

    wp-admin/admin.php?page=woosea_manage_settings&tab=woosea_system_check

    System check Status
    WP-Cron enabled True
    PHP-version sufficient True (7.1)
    Product feed directory writable True
    Product feed XML directory writable True
    Product feed CSV directory writable False
    Product feed TXT directory writable False
    Product feed TSV directory writable False
    Product feed LOGS directory writable True

    wp-admin/tools.php?page=crontrol_admin_manage_page
    (no errors)
    woosea_cron_hook None woosea_create_all_feeds()

    Any ideas or help with troubleshooting much apprecaited

    @ultimus Have you checked your CPU usage on sitreground? I’m going to guess yours is through the roof like mine as our issue sounds identical.

    Just to rule out our latest update being the cause for this we will roll-back the previous release to the 6.2.9 version.

    @evavangelooven Once it’s available I’ll update and let you know if it resolves or not

    @evavangelooven
    I have downgraded to 6.2.9 version and it hangs at “processing (0%)”

    Yes but that, to us, sounds more like a WP-cron issue which you trigger once an hour only then something that has been caused with a previous release of our plugin.

    cron is beeing triggered once a minute. I’ll rollback to WP-Cron and test again with 6.2.9

    Yeah but if the current version (6.3.0) somehow broke something in the configuration of your feed or the _tmp files created by the plugin then changes are that older version of the plugin won’t be able to update the feeds anymore either.

    We are about to release version 6.3.1. I suggest you wait for that and try creating a complete new feed to test to see if it finishes processing.

    Bear in mind, we cannot reproduce this at all on any of our testing-servers so we are just speculating here.

    ok, when do you think 6.3.1 will be release?
    Concerning testing I can give you access to my env. should you want to have a look.

    We have just released version 6.3.1 which basically is a rollback to version 6.2.9

    Mine is now working correctly again on 6.3.1

    I’ve update to v 6.3.1 and rolled back to WP-cron.
    Removed all feeds and added new test feed.
    Deactivated and activated plugin.
    update in a min

    @ultimus Have you purged the cache after making all the changes and just before doing the manual product feed refresh?

    Thread Starter ultimus

    (@ultimus)

    @nanasflowers
    yes I have currently at “processing 33%”. I’ll give it a few minutes.
    Have you also rolled back to WP-cron or are you seeing success with real cron jobs?

    NF

    (@nanasflowers)

    @ultimus I’m still on real cron jobs. It took a few refreshes for it to work though but I got there and have disabled the automatic refresh for the time being as I don’t fancy waking up and potentially having to go through this again.

    Also worth nothing my server CPU usage is falling back down to normal now.

    So I am right to conclude that the roll-back did solve the issue at hand for you?

    If so then apparently the release broke for users who are using real cron jobs and disabled the WP-cron.

    Best,
    Eva
