    Hi,
I wanted to see if this feature is already available in this plugin.

I have a quiz with 10 questions. Each question has 4 answer choices and all of them are tagged to a certain end result. For example,

    Q1
    A1 – You are a genius
    A2 – You are smart
    A3 – You are brilliant
    A4 – You are awesome

and so for every question each answer is tagged to a end result (You are..) . Once a user answers all the 10 questions, I need to know how the user answers. If the user answered them like this

    10% You are a genius, 40% smart, 20% brilliant,20% awesome

then based on the highest weightage (in this case 40% smart) the final landing page should simply say “After taking our test, we have concluded that you are smart”

Is this kind of a quiz format possible with your existing plugin?

  • Greetings Socialfan7:

Hmmm, this one is a challenging one. At first, I was trying to think of a way you could use the points system where each of the different categories were different point values, but I couldn’t come up with a way that would work all the time.

Unfortunately, the plugin cannot create the kind of quiz you are trying to create in it’s current version(1.5.1). I’ll have to ponder this one over a little and see if I can find a way to get this capability added in for you.

Interesting. Yes that type of quiz format will be awesome. Is this kind of quiz format possible.

Each quiz has 1 correct answer per question and based on the end result (Say 5 questions the user got correct out of 10). Based on the number of correct answers I want to show different results in the results page.

If user got 1 – 4 out of 10 correct then User is Genius
If user got 5 – 7 out of 10 correct then User is Smart
If user got 8 – 10 out of 10 correct then User is Brilliant

Is there a way to show customized results page by using HTML/PHP elements in the results page.

In the plugin’s current version, the plugin does not have the capability of having different results pages based on the score of the quiz. This is a feature I have already begun working on so it should make it into the plugin within the next few weeks.

In the meantime, you could put the users score on the results page and maybe include the “If you got 1-4 answers correct, then you are a Genius” underneath that perhaps.

Perfect. Awesome that you are working on this. Will do it like you suggested for now. Looking forward to your next version update. Thanks a lot as usual. Wonderful that you are collaborating with the community to enhance and build a powerful tool for the community.

For the feature you said you are working on “different results pages based on score” do you plan on giving a HTML box for each score tier we pick? What would be cool is to have based on the score the ability to simply redirect to a different wordpress page or show a customized HTML box configured in the plugin for a particular result of a specific quiz. Just some brainstorming some ideas.

Excited and thankful that you are working on this and almost updating the plugin everyday with something new and cool.

    Hi,

can I assign negative points value to an answer and give negative points from not answering?

    Socialfan7:

In the newest version (1.8.1), I have included the ability to have different landing pages based on the user’s score. You can make edits to these on the new Quiz Landing Page tab. Let me know what you think!
