Feature request: bbPress front-end post editor

    Hello!

    I’ve given the front end feature some thoughts but I’m not sure if I want to incorporate that feature or not yet. Although, I’m curious, does the front end topic posting even allow you to select a featured image?

    Hi Jonathon,

    Thanks for your consideration. I should have thought more before posting as I was thinking more for inline images rather than a featured image. At the moment we have the ability to attach images as topic / thread attachments but no easy way to upload and insert inline images. I’ll keep searching for a plugin that might be able to do this as so far my plugin creation skills are way too limited.

    Hi Vernon!

    Regarding adding drag and drop for inline images I think that’s a totally other plugin. I don’t think I will be making this. Some people were experimenting with it here though: http://kovshenin.com/2012/dear-wordpress-i-want-to-drop-files-here-in-the-visual-editor/.
