When we installed Jetpack last Autumn, we used the info we found in this discussion thread to get the FB share button, because it was only the FB like button in the standard setting in Jetpack, when you used teh official icons. Now the problem is the oposite. Jetpack offers the share button, and we also wantteh “like-button”. Do we solve it the same way kind of?

I’m afraid that there isn’t currently a way to include Facebook’s Like button as a sharing service. However, we are aware of this issue. We hope to include a filter in a future release which will allow you to choose which button you’d like to use. You can follow along with our progress here:

I hope this helps clear things up! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for teh answer. I will follow the development. Just one question. Why did you take away the option that was already there?

If I recall correctly, Facebook is promoting use of the Share button over the use of the Like button. So, we made the change to keep consistent with the direction that they are moving towards.
