I have purchased a theme that requires this plugin. However, when I install the plugin it crashes the site, throwing the following error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_kses_allowed_html() in /home/blue1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/includes/mtekk_adminkit.php on line 52

Due to a specific WordPress plugin that I use for real estate listings, I cannot update my WordPress version. All other plugins are deactivated and nothing works – and the theme is throwing a notification that I must install the plugin.

Is there a fix for this or an older version I can try?

As you are using a commercial theme, you really need to seek support from the theme’s developer/vendor.

Breadcrumb NavXT clearly states it requires WordPress 3.5 or newer. Upgrade to WordPress 3.5 or newer, the latest version of WordPress is 3.6.1.

If you must use a version of WordPress older than 3.5, you could use an older version of Breadcrumb NavXT (4.3.0 probably will work). However, note that I don’t provide support for any version of Breadcrumb NavXT that isn’t the latest version.
