Support » Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com » Fatal error after activation

  • I’ve just install the plugin Jetpack and after activate the plugin, I’ve got this message and I can’t access the Admin section of my web site after that. What should I do.

  • Log in to your server and change the name of the JetPack plugin folder and that will deactivate it.

Ultimately the issue is from running out of memory in PHP. I don’t think this is coming from JetPack so I’d see about deactivating all your plugins and then reactivate just the ones you absolutely need. The memory PHP is asking for is way more than you really need to run WordPress. There is an issue somewhere with some plugin.

that’s the only plugin I’ve install and activate

Again, change the name of the folder that that the plugin is in. You may need to contact your host to talk about the memory issues.

Both of you seem to have something going on that shouldn’t be. That’s simply way to much memory for a basic WordPress install.

Are you using the stock TwentyTen or TwentyEleven theme or one you purchased?

    Thank you,
