Hi, you are right… A z-index level option was planned for the new Theme Compatibility section but somehow got left out. Sorry. It’ll be added in the next release, I promise!
Meanwhile, why is the fancybox conflicting with the admin bar on your site? It should go over it without any additional CSS.

Hi RavanH,
I would like to complement you on the development and continued work on Fancybox, what a contribution you have made to the WordPress community.
The added style you gave me above works fine. While logged in as Admin, the Z area of WP user login-logout dropdown menu sets ontop of the Fancybox right corner. This means if – the FB screen size is large, the X for closing the FB video on not accessible because of Z level therefore I would have to reload the page 🙁

Strange, I cannot reproduce this effect. Or I’m not understanding what you mean… Can you share a screen print maybe ?
