Facebook like plugin not showing faces

    Hey y’all,

    So the Facebook like plugin isn’t working on our site. I believe we have the official plugin (my partner downloaded it) and it works fine except it doesn’t ” Show profile photos of the viewer’s friends who have already liked the URL” When I check the box, it unchecks after I hit saved changes. So I went into the code and changed it from
    “show_faces=false”, to “true” (which after, some investigation, i found to be the correct coding) but it still doesn’t work! If I uninstall and reinstall will I lose all our data up till this point?

    I know this question has been previously asked, but I haven’t found any answers.

    Facebook may show faces of friends who have liked a URL: it depends on the Likes and how many of the people who liked are friends of the person currently viewing the page.

    You were on the right track investigating the show faces parameter. On the front end when you view source and search for “fb-like” to find the Like Button you should see a data-show-faces="true" attribute.
