I had a look at the box, and it appears to be displayed properly on my end:

Did you manage to fix the issue, or do your still experience issues? If so, could you make a screenshot, and post it so I can take a look?
You can use a service like http://snag.gy/ to share your screenshots here.
Thanks!
I downloaded a new plugin to create that box with — the Jetpack one still doesn’t work. Here’s a screenshot I took of it, and (like someone else just posted today), the Show Faces option will not turn off anymore!

Thanks a lot for the extra details. I was able to reproduce the issue, and I tracked down the problem to a change we made in 3.8 to avoid errors when saving widget settings in some cases. Unfortunately, by fixing that issue we created a new one. We’ll get this fixed in Jetpack 3.8.1, and you can follow our progress here:
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/2971
I’ll also post again here as soon as I have some news.
We’ve fixed the issue in Jetpack’s development version. The fix will be included in the next Jetpack release, but you can already see the changes here if you’d like to apply the patch on your own site:
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/pull/3023/files
How do I install this patch?
To install the patch, you’ll need to edit modules/widgets/facebook-likebox.php in the Jetpack plugin folder, remove the lines in red, and add the lines in green as pointed out here:
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/pull/3023/files
If you don’t feel comfortable doing it, you could try testing Jetpack Beta, it includes those changes:

Hi Jeremy,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I saw the red and green lines but I thought I could download a version with the new and removed lines.
What I do not understand is that I did not changes or update the plugin and now the problem is solved…
Have a nice day!
Regards,
Ron
